That’s where our Discovery Call comes in. It’s a quick, complimentary, introductory chat where you tell me more about what your issues are and what you want help with.
From there, we’ll go over all the options available to you and book your Home Consultation to get the ball rolling.
What do I get with my Furnishing Package?
Your furnishing project is completed with the hand off of your own Project Lookbook!
This can include a furniture plan, a color palette for you to use as reference going forward, furniture concepts and collections that have been curated with your specific needs and preferences in mind, and a shopping list that has clickable links, taking you directly to the website for purchase.
I’ve even included a few tips & tricks to make sure that your purchasing goes smoothly!
Will we drive around to different stores to pick out furniture in person?
Although this is an additional option, it’s not what I typically do.
Shopping for furniture in person reduces the number of pieces you have access to and adds hours to the design-time clock… which gets expensive, fast.
Instead, I gather as many photos, specifications and details as possible to help you make and informed decision and present all this information in your Project Lookbook.
What is the process for purchasing furniture?
Once you have your Project Lookbook, the ball is in your court!
For most projects, you will be in charge of your own purchasing and/or your contractor or certified trades (if applicable).
What that means is that you’ll also be in charge of your own deliveries, assembly and installation.
Not your jam? That’s okay, we do offer procurement and installation for projects that are needing a little extra assistance.
Does my project have to start with a Home Consultation?
Yes! This is how I get to know you and your project.
It’s also a great opportunity for us to talk about your wants and needs and discuss options that maybe you hadn’t thought of.
During your Home Consultation is also when we’ll identify task items that you can get started on right away.

Do I get a 3D rendering with my Furnishing Package?
Since I’m always trying to be smart with design hours, I don’t include 3D renderings in the Furnishing Package final lookbooks. That being said, if you’re a visual person and a 3D image is exactly what you need to see the whole picture, it is available as an add-on option!
Can you get me a discount at (enter favorite furniture store here)?
Unfortunately, the answer is typically no!
Because you are in charge of your own purchasing, which saves you oodles of money by not paying me to do it, most trade discounts aren’t applicable.
I know, I’m sorry!
How much do you charge?

Interior Design services are tricky to put a dollar figure to as each project and scope is completely unique, however all services are based off the hourly rate & expected time spent.
I do things a little differently, including keeping my hourly much lower than industry standard and taking on smaller projects that most larger firms won’t touch.
That was exactly why I launched HART HOUS, big or small, every project should have access to a little professional guidance.
